Does divorce shorten your life?

No one can definitively say whether or not divorce shortens your life. However, there are a number of studies that suggest it does. One study by the University of Utah found that divorced men and women die sooner than those who have never been divorced. The study looked at mortality rates over an 18-year period and found that those who had been divorced were 22% more likely to die prematurely than those who had never been married. Another study by the University of Chicago found that adults who have gone through a divorce are at an increased risk for heart disease, cancer, and other chronic health conditions.

There are many possible explanations for these findings. Divorce can be very stressful and lead to anxiety and depression, which in turn can lead to poor health outcomes. Additionally, when a marriage ends it often leads to a decrease in income and social support, both of which are important for maintaining good health.

While there is no doubt that divorce has some negative consequences, it is also important to remember that not all divorces are bad news. In fact, sometimes divorce can be the best thing for both parties involved – especially if they were unhappy in their marriage or if they have children they want to see thrive emotionally and financially post-divorce

Is a DPT higher than a PT?

There is some debate surrounding whether a DPT is higher than a PT. Some people believe that the DPT is a more advanced degree, while others believe that it is simply an extension of the PT degree. However, there does not seem to be any clear consensus on this matter. One argument in favor of the idea that the DPT is higher than the PT degree is that the DPT requires more coursework and clinical hours than the PT degree. Additionally, many employers view holders of a DPT as being more qualified for certain positions than those with only a PT degree. However, there are also arguments against this idea. For example, many schools offer both degrees (DPT and PT), which suggests that they are viewed as being equivalent in terms of level of education. Additionally, many employers do not differentiate between holders of different types of physical therapy degrees when hiring staff members. Ultimately, it appears that there is no definitive answer as to whether or not a DPT is higher than a...
