A small number of studies have shown that taking probiotic supplements can help treat bacterial vaginosis (BV), a common infection caused by an imbalance of bacteria in the vagina . However other studies have not found any benefit from using probiotics for BV or other vaginal problems . So at this point there isn’t enough evidence to say definitely whether or not probiotics are helpful for vaginal health issues.
